Post #17:
In the era of COVID-19, where remote work has become the global norm, the online business landscape is poised to become even more fiercely competitive. With over half of the world's population residing in urban areas, presumably equipped with internet access, the stakes are high. Internet World Stats reports a staggering 4.5 billion people with internet penetration worldwide. While these numbers underscore the vast potential, the reality of variable internet speeds adds a layer of complexity to the competition for prime visibility on users' screens.

Assuming your target audience is actively searching—a presumption in the fast-evolving world of the sluggish internet and rapidly changing algorithms—competing effectively is imperative. In this digital arena, success hinges on mastering the rules of the game, often referred to as the "Algorithm." In this realm, Google reigns supreme, shaping the landscape of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with its evolving criteria, encapsulated by the acronym EAT: Expertise, Authority, and Trustworthiness.

Yet, navigating this complex mission can be overwhelming for a lone individual, especially since this approach has been in play since December 2016. Falling behind is not an option. Achieving visibility goes beyond conventional strategies, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the game. Moreover, success means that your target audience doesn't even need to actively search for your offerings; Google, leveraging its analytics, presents them proactively.

If you believe this is a one-person endeavor, you may be teetering on the brink of obscurity. If you find yourself reading this now, perhaps we both share the challenge of living under a metaphorical rock—next door to those residing in a prehistoric cave.
